·  How can I pay for an MHS server?

Currently, we just accept Paypal subscriptions for our servers and packages. Please refer to http://www.paypal.com for more information about their services. We will be adding full credit card support shortly.

·  How do I manage my MHS billing and account?

The MHS MBill panel is real-time access to your account with payment, package, and general administration options. You will be able to view due dates, add/change packages, and update account information easily through the Mbill Panel.

·  Does MHO put multiple clients on single servers?

Sometimes. However, if you rent a dedicated server package, the answer is NO! MHS will never run multiple clients on the same dedicated server package. What this means is that if you purchase a dedicated server, it is your and yours only. Other companies will sell dedicated servers, only to piggy-back multiple clients on the same box. This just decreases the performance of all clients on that server. The only time that MHS will ever put multiple clients on one box is through our gaming packages where you have purchased a virtual game server by the player, or slot. Only after extensive testing and configuration checking does MHS put multiple game servers on a single hardware platform. Please do not confuse our dedicated server packages with game-only packages.

·  What comes installed on the server?

We do a standard installation of the Operating System you choose. If you want additional software packages added to your server you must request it. Just type in your request in the special requests and notes section of the Paypal subscription form.

·  Will you configure my game server?

Yes, MHS will configure one game server per package at no charge. Additional and/or custom configurations will be $10 per instance. MHS also supports stats packages such as BFStats, UCStats, UTStats, etc. Just enquire with the MHS support team for pricing and setup details.

·  When will my server be ready?

Our general turn around time is 24 hours or less after your order has been placed and verified. This being said, turn-up times could take 72 hours due to hardware availability, configuration issues, etc. Delays will be made aware through email and/or other correspondence. If there is an initial delay in setting up the server, billing will not start until configuration is complete.

·  What do you mean by free upgrades and patches? Do you do these automatically?

We will automatically install any upgrades and patches to your Operating System unless you prefer us to not perform these. You must specifically send an email to support@milehiservers.com and request that we do not perform regular maintenance on your server. If MHS does provide regular patch maintenance, an email will be sent to you notifying you of the updates and actions.

·  Are your servers fully managed?

If you are referring to OS and security updates, the answer is yes. All MHS servers are fully managed. This includes network IDS, OS updates, security updates, monitoring, and more.

·  Can I send you hardware to add to my server?

No, we do not allow customers to add their own hardware to the dedicated servers or packages.

·  Do I have root access to my server? Can I install my software after the server is online?

Yes, you will have root access to your server. You may install any software you like on the machine once we have put it online for you. Remember that any outside third party software is not supported by the MHS technical support team.

·  If I cancel my server do I get a refund?

No we do not issue refunds for prepaid services. If you wish to cancel your server you will need to do so seven (7) days before your next billing cycle.

·  Do you monitor my server and notify me of outages?

Yes, all servers are monitored for free with a basic ping. MHS support team will notify you according to your custom designed escalation procedure.

·  Do you have 24/7/365 support?

Yes, we have NOC personnel onsite 24/7/365 for reboots and assistance with your servers.

·  What is the preferred method of support?

Not at this time. To keep our pricing and packages competitive, we must rely on online support tools.

The cost for bandwidth overage is $0.50 per GB.

·  How will I access my server(s)?

* Dedicated Windows servers: You will use Remote Desktop Connection to give you real time access and console rights to your server. You will have full administrative rights to your PC, so do not change administrator passwords, otherwise MHS will not be able to support your server. Feel free to create new users with administrative rights, however the main administrator account must NOT be altered.
* Virtual Gaming Packages: You will have access to your virtual game servers through the MHS Game Control Panel. This will allow you to start and stop your server, as well as make additional configuration changes depending on the game type. You will also have full FTP access to your game server.
* Web Packages: You will have access through the MHS Ensim Panel. This will give you full control over your site including functionality such as MySQL, PHP Scripting, File Manager, etc. Web Packages also come with full FTP privileges to your site.

No, all hardware components of our rented servers must be property of MHS. You will need to rent the hardware from MHS and we will install it.

On all P4 servers, the Front Side Bus speed is 400MHz and the processor cache is 512K.

·  Do you allow reselling?

Yes and no. This has come up a few times recently and should be addressed. I do not generally turn down server orders from competitors or other providers. This being said, if I know you are a reseller I will ask for an up-front conversation to go over some guidelines for reselling an MHS server. Generally, these guidelines are limited to competing advertising, non-solicitation of current MHS customers, etc.
